Born and raised in Portland Oregon I was exposed to many things in the world of fine art through my parents and grandparents.  I spent four years in college in Arizona earning a degree in Design and Production for Theatre where I learned to sew and pattern.  Then, returned to Portland to earn a second degree in History.

In this blog I will attempt to fill the knowledge gaps in regards to quality, history, heritage, and maybe a bit of tradition.  If I can do all this with a bit of wit and style I will have done my job.
